Everything is in motion. Existing buildings are wrapped in scaffolding, new architecture is under construction, helicopters are approaching, and the waves are turbulent. In 2018, Hanna de Haan created a circular installation made of 20 large wooden panels (2,4×1,2 m), with a diameter of 7 meters, in which you literally walk through an imaginary city by the sea. The arrangement in a circle, which the visitor enters, gives a refreshing twist to the panoramic form and traditional technique. Instead of an illusion, the viewer is fully aware of the technique and the material.
In 2019, the installation was shown for the first time to the public at Panorama Mesdag, in 2022, it was displayed in the Atrium City Hall, The Hague. In 2020 and 2026 it was shown in Kunstruimte Willem Twee, Den Bosch.
